Old Style Pub Games & Quiz Nights

After some extensive research with local pub owners the feed back has been that they would like to bring back old style quiz nights and pub games, using more modern multi media packages.

At Hg Entertainments we have come up with a few packages but are willing to discuss on a one to one basis what type of entertainment each venue would like.

They range from the standard TV media quiz to more advance set ups incorporating lights and sound effects. The TV media quiz is mainly made up of questions broadcast through the screens in the venue and are structured rounds e.g. Sport, Entertainment, Famous Faces, etc. The more advanced set up is used when playing games e.g. Who Wants to Be A Millionaire and The Weakest Link, etc.

Deal or No Deal fits perfectly in the middle as we can use the screen within the venue to broadcast all the money and prizes available but still have the important inter-reaction with the public.

This can be done as a showpiece or in the middle of a Video DJ or Quiz night.

Each customer gets a raffle ticket when they enter the venue or it can be used in conjunction with a promotion.

We will draw 10 contestants from the raffle and these will be our main competitors on the night.

We then enter all the names in a hat and draw the main competitor who will compete for the prizes.

The prizes can be anything the venue wants to offer from cash to free drink, etc. The contestants then all get handed an envelope containing a prize and all the prizes are broadcast on the screens as each contestant gets knocked out each prize is removed. Until the main competitor takes what is offered or opens their envelope.

To add something more challenging and fun and to speed things up a little we suggest you have a knock out envelope by which if the contestant draws this he/she must stop and either take the prize in her hand or take the offer. This allows for another contestant to take their place and start all over again.

We suggest the prizes should be manly fun ones with 1 major prize.
